Effective: March 31, 2026
The short version: Manifest is a personal flight logging app. Use it honestly, respect other users, and don't misuse the service. Your data belongs to you. Our content belongs to us. We're building this for aviation enthusiasts — let's keep it that way.
By creating an account or using Manifest, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the app. These Terms are a legal agreement between you and Manifest Labs ("we," "us," "our").
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf. Parents may create and manage profiles for children under 13 within their family group.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and all activity that occurs under it. You agree to:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
You own the flight data, profile information, and other content you add to Manifest. We do not claim ownership of your data. By using Manifest, you grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the app's features to you.
When you use the Share feature, you choose to create and export an image containing your flight data. We are not responsible for how shared images are used once they leave the app.
For details on how we handle your data, see our Privacy Policy.
All content produced by Manifest — including Skyline articles, news articles, Black Box questions, On This Day facts, deal summaries, and design elements — is owned by Manifest Labs and protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially use our content without written permission.
Flight deals shown in the Clearance tab link to third-party airline websites. We surface these deals for your convenience but do not guarantee their accuracy, availability, or pricing. We are not a travel agency and are not party to any transaction between you and an airline.
Some content in Manifest — including news articles and deal summaries — is generated using artificial intelligence. While we apply editorial quality controls, AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors. We provide this content for informational and entertainment purposes. It should not be relied upon as the sole basis for travel decisions.
You agree not to:
We aim to keep Manifest available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss resulting from downtime.
You may delete your account at any time by contacting [email protected]. Upon deletion, we will remove your account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed.
Manifest is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, secure, or meet your specific requirements. Flight data enrichment (aircraft types, airport information) is provided for informational purposes and may not always be accurate.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Manifest Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (which, for a free app, is zero).
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by email. Continued use of Manifest after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in Santa Clara County, California.
